Laboratory for New Methods of Composite Materials Forming and Reinforced Frames of Engineering Center High Temperature Composite Materials

The main laboratory activities:

Technology development for:

- Automated production of composites preforms and reinforced structures (polymer composite materials, carbon-carbon-composite materials, ceramic composite materials);

- Contour and rotor weaving (according to two and three axial schemes (with skeletal reinforcement), with straight curved axis, closed axis, etc.) 3D quality;

- Automated assembly of reinforced core frame, diameter not less than 1mm.

Development of software for weaving process simulation and control.
