R & D results

Research and innovation activity is one of the priority areas for development of the State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education of the Moscow Region "University of Technology". The research activities of the University of Technology are organized and carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation, regulatory acts of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Charter and other regulatory acts of the university and scientific communities.

The mission of the Department of Science of the University of Technology is the intellectual and technological support for a socially oriented and effective system of higher education institution functioning in a market economy, able to ensure dynamic development of the University and a worthy level of its employees well-being, as well as the training of specialists, research and academic staff at the level of world qualification requirements, the effective use of the university educational, research, technical and innovative potential for economic development and solving social problems of the region and the country as a whole.

The University of Technology has whatever is required for achieving the desired goal:

  • necessary potential of scientific and academic staff intensively involved in research activity;
  • conditions for implementation of the creative abilities of the research and academic staff, including: the creation of the effective mechanism for stimulating research activity; availability of the necessary material and technical base; access to information resources and the possibility to exchange scientific and technical information; publications of research results, etc.

The Department for Organizing Scientific Research is a structural unit of the University of Technology, acting on the basis of the Charter.

The main tasks of the Department are:

  • Implementation of planning and coordination of research activities at the University of Technology;
  • Improving the research work of the University in the context of new socio-economic conditions.

Research and Development activity of the University of Technology in 2014

  1. Developments of a software module for calculating the processes of chemical vapor deposition of monomethylsilane gas phase for compacting the porous frame of a large-sized nozzle.
  2. Development of design documentation for fasteners and prototypes of structural elements from PCM and development of a database on the porous structure of composite materials and reinforcing frames based on carbon fibers (1 stage).
  3. Monitoring the quality of educational services provided in the Municipal Educational Establishment "Elatom Comprehensive School".
  4. The implementation of research activities in 2014 on the introduction of normative per capita financing in vocational education establishments, including monitoring.   1. Development of design documentation for fasteners and prototypes of structural elements from PCM and development of a database on the porous structure of composite materials and reinforcing frames based on carbon fibers (2 stage).
  2. Development of technological methods for producing automatically formed carbon preforms and PCM based on them.
  3. Scientific and technological support for the development of high-temperature composite material with ablative filler (stage 1).
  4. The provision of a range of services for the study of the composite materials porous structure.

  2. Technological support for the development of technology for the manufacture of composite materials of the SiCN / SiCN structure (stages 1,2).
  3. Development of technology for the automated assembly of small-mesh core frames (stages 1,2).
  4. Development and manufacture of carbon fiber based on woven preform and polyetheretherketone (stage 1).
  5. Testing modes and manufacturing preforms for shell material samples (stage 1).

Research and Development activity of the University of Technology in 2018

  1. Technological support for the development of technology for the manufacture of composite materials of the SiCN / SiCN structure (stage 3).
  2. Development of technology for the automated assembly of small-mesh core frames (stages 2,3).
  3. Manufacture of tubular preform made of carbon fiber UMT40-3K-EP (D60x2 mm; L = 800 mm).
  4. Preforma of carbon fiber UMT40-3K-EP according to documentation code 0932.302411.063SB.
  5. Analysis of the porous structure of CCM based on the new generation frameworks.
  6. Development of manufacturing methods for relatively thick (4 ± 1 mm) hexagonal boron nitride plates for electronic products (stages 1,2).
  7. Development and implementation of the automated 3D weaving control system, development of software for controlling braiding equipment and modelling the resulting structures ( stages 1,2)
