University staff spoke at the International Conference

Representatives of the University of Technology took part in the VIII International Conference «Functional Nanomaterials and High-Purity Substances» in Suzdal. The Conference was held with the elements of the scientific school for young people.

The First Vice-Rector Vyacheslav Startsev and the Head of the Laboratory of the Engineering Center of the University of Technology Alexei Chesnokov presented two reports within the framework of the section «Composite materials, including polymer». 

The University staff shared their experience in functioning the Engineering Center «High-Temperature Composite Materials» and also spoke about the development of technologies for weaving solid preforms for thermally loaded parts. 

Participation in the conference has become a good and useful tradition for the University employees, as such platforms help to strengthen contacts between academic institutions and universities, as well as fundamental and applied science. 

FOR REFERENCE: The conference is held every two years and has become one of the largest and most representative international scientific forums. The main organizer of the conference is IMET RAS jointly with JSC «Kompozit».
