University of Technology Award «Golden Section». Results

Today, on Tatiana's Day – the Day of Russian Students, the University of Technology held the annual ceremony of awarding the University Prize «Golden Section» to the best students and teachers following the results of the past year.

Due to the difficult epidemiological situation this year, the ceremony was held in person and remotely with the personal presence of the occasion's heroes – the nominees for the award. And everyone interested could join the celebration online. The «Golden Section» ceremony was opened by the President of the University of Technology Tatyana Startseva and the Rector of the University Alexey Shchikanov, who congratulated all students and teachers on Tatiana's Day and wished the nominees good luck and further victories.

The award ceremony was personally attended by the Deputy of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Denis Kravchenko, the Chairman of the Commission for the Development of Preschool, School, Secondary Vocational Education and Educational Activities of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Natalya Kravchenko, Deputy Head of the Administration of city Korolev Victoria Koroleva, General Director of JSC Corporation «Tactical Missiles» Boris Obnosov, General Director of NPO IT Vladimir Artemyev, First Deputy General Director of JSC «Kompozit» Anatoly Timofeev, Deputy General Director of KBhimmash named after A.M. Isaev Natalia Brazhnikova, Leading Specialist of the HR Department of NPO IT Alexander Nevzorov, Advisor to the General Director of KTRV Vladimir Bugreev, Hero of Russia, Pilot-Cosmonaut Konstantin Kozeev, General Director of TRANSNETIQ Vitaly Poltoratsky and Chief Artist of the Darwin Museum Lyudmila Litvinova.

In the nominations for higher education, the winners are:

• Nomination «Student of the Year, Higher Education» – Natalya Truschenko, student of the EBP-18 group (specialty «Economic security»);
• Nomination «Teacher of the Year, Higher Education» – Olga Chausova, Ph.D in Engineering Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Deputy Head of the Department;
• Nomination «Student Recognition,  Higher Education» – Alyona Muzalevskaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Techniques and Technologies, Engineer, Ph.D in Engineering Sciences;
• Nomination «Group of the Year, Higher Education» – group SO-18 (major «Sociology»), group leader – Anastasia Budyleva;
• Nomination «Mentor of the Year» – Ekaterina Zhidkova, Senior Lecturer, Department of Quality Management and Standardization;
• Nomination «Department of the Year» – Department of Management. Head of the Department – Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education of the Russian Federation, D.Sc. in Economics, Professor, State Councilor of the Russian Federation of the First Class Mikhail Veselovsky;
• Nomination «The Best Author of Scientific Publications in the Rating  Russian and International Journals» – Vladimir Artyushenko, Head of the Department of Information Technologies and Control Systems, D.Sc. in Engineering, Professor;
• Nomination «The Best Consultant-Mentor of Student Research Projects» – Oleg Mosalov, Head of Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Intelligent Control Systems of the University of Technology, Ph.D. in Engineering.

The «Golden Section» ceremony was accompanied by performances of the University of Technology students who specially prepared bright creative performances for Tatiana's Day. It was a real gift for all participants of the ceremony – both for those who were present in person, and for those who watched the online broadcasting.
