Representatives of the University of Technology participated in the International Scientific and Practical Conference on quality management and information technologies

The representatives of the University of Technology participated in the V International Scientific and Practical Conference «Quality Management, Transport and Information Security, Information Technologies» (IT&QM&IS–2020) held in the Pastuhov State Academy of Industrial Management during the period of September 7-11,2020 (city Yaroslavl).  

The Conference was organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, the European Centre for Quality, IEE Russia NW Section, the Interregional Public Organization «Academy of Quality Problems» (Russia) and a number of Russian universities. 

150 participants from Russia, Great Britain, Holland, Sweden and Switzerland have registrated for the participation in the Сonference. A feature of the Сonference was that due to the pandemic, many reports (primarily international) were made on-line. At the conference, the reports were made on various areas of application of digital information technologies and quality management in the context of digital transformation. Vladimir Artyushenko, the head of Department of Information Technologies and Control Systems, and Vladimir Isaev, the head of Department of Quality Management and Standardization made their face-to-face reports on behalf of the University of Technology. Margarita Menshikova, the head of Department of Economics, made her report on-line. The reports were heard with great interests. 

The university received offers for further cooperation. The Conference allowed its participants to exchange useful practical experience, assess the latest trends in the announced topics and design further steps for the development of information technology.
