Priority-2030: meeting of the consortium on the creation of a national network of technology centers

The Leonov University of Technology became a participant of the Federal Program «Priority 2030» within the consortium organized by Saint Petersburg State Marine Technical University (SMTU).

The consortium, which included the leading universities, research institutes and corporations of the country, received funding for the implementation of the strategic project «Digital Industrial Technologies» under the program «Priority 2030». It implies the creation of a network of technology centers in the regions where large high-tech industries and educational and scientific organizations are concentrated. The head center of the project will be located in SMTU and the Moscow Center will be created in Korolev on the basis of the University of Technology.

Recently, a delegation of the Leonov University of Technology headed by President Tatiana Startseva and Rector Alexey Shchikanov visited SMTU together with the consortium partners and took part in the round table «Creation and development of a national network of technology centers and organization of network interaction» within the «Priority 2030» program.

At the meeting, the Rector of SMTU Gleb Turichin defined the range of tasks facing the consortium. The parties discussed the structure and organization of the national network of technology centers, further steps to implement the project.

During the meeting, the consortium participants also got acquainted with the facilities and resources of SMTU and visited the Institute of Laser and Welding Technologies of the university.
