Leonov University of Technology has become a member of the International Aerospace Innovation Alliance «BRAIA»

Leonov University of Technology has become a member of the International Aerospace Innovation Alliance «BRAIA». 

Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA), established on April 23, 2017 in Xi’an, was initiated by Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) and Chinese Society of Astronautics (CSA). The mission of BRAIA is to enhance the international cooperation on aerospace technology and application. Its focus is to promote the substantial cooperation among BRAIA members in talent cultivation, scientific research, technology development and applications, etc.

The Alliance members include universities, research institutes, academic organizations and aerospace enterprises. Today BRAIA has 74 members from 22 countries on 6 continents of the world. Now Leonov University of Technology is among its members. The decision about the university joining the Alliance was made at the International Forum on Aerospace Education and the 5th Anniversary Conference of Belt and Road Aerospace Innovation Alliance (BRAIA). The membership in the Alliance will allow the university to expand scientific cooperation with leading universities and corporations in the aerospace industry of the world, and will provide an opportunity to participate in joint international projects.
