The delegation from the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, headed by Igor Karpenko, the Minister, visited the University Children's Technopark «Quantorium» in Korolev. This visit took place within the framework of bilateral meetings of the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

The meeting was attended by Olga Koludarova, the Acting Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Upbringing, Additional Education and Children's Rest of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Ilya Bronshtein, the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Moscow Region, Alexei Shchikanov, the Rector of the University of Technology, Dmitry Areshev, the Director of the Children's Technopark «Quantorium», Irina Vavrik, the Chairman of the Education Committee of the city Korolev Administration.

The Belarusian delegation also included Andrei Krasutsky, the Ñonsultant of the Department for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, Vadim Bogush, the Rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Dmitry Voronyuk, the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the «Belarusian Republican Youth Union» and Alexander Ignatchik, the Deputy Head of the  Department for Cultural Affairs of the Belarusian State University.

During the meeting, Ilya Bronshtein spoke about the efficient activities of the Quantorium network in the Moscow Region. Alexey Shchikanov and Dmitry Areshev introduced the guests to the main areas of activities of the Children's Technopark in Korolev, its equipment and achievements. Alexey Shchikanov also noted that the University of Technology implements a system of continuous education from school to production, which allows for early career guidance of the younger generation and guide the young people through all stages of education on the way to the future profession. The rector spoke about the close cooperation of the University with the industrial enterprises of the region and focused on the fact that the University has developed curricula taking into account the requirements of professional standards, according to which the University carries out targeted training of personnel for partner enterprises. This approach especially interested our Belorussian colleagues.

After getting acquainted with the capabilities of the University of Technology a round table was held. Within the framework of this table there was an exchange of experience between the Russian and Belarusian colleagues in building the activity of institutions for children's additional education. In this context, the parties also discussed the prospects for further international cooperation.
