VI NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP WORLDSKILLS HI-TECH 2019

At the beginning of November the VI National Championship WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2019 finished in Yekaterinburg. WorldSkills Hi-Tech 2019 was the largest championship of hi-tech sphere cross-industry professions. Over 150 competitors and experts, international partners, representatives of government agencies and educational institutions competed within the II Open Eurasian Championship on WorldSkills standards and the BRICS Future Skills Challenge 2019 championship on its site.

Based on the competitions results, Daria Zhurbenko, a student of the Technology and Design College (University of Technology), became a silver medalist in the «Industrial Design» competency.

The young boys and girls aged 12 to 16 also competed in 22 competencies of WorldSkills Juniors on the WorldSkills Hi-Tech site.

The students of the University of Technology Children's Technopark «Quantorium» Ruslan Frolov and Alexander Gorshkov in the “Network and System Administration” competency and Kirill Gnusarev, Atay Nikita Gunyuch, Artyom Platonov in the “Space Systems Engineering” competency won the Silver of the championship. The guys performed as a part of the national corporation Roscosmos team - a partner of the University of Technology.

The championship has become a useful experience for all the participants and opened new horizons for further professional development.
