Volunteers of the University of Technology provide practical assistance to health professionals who are now at the forefront of the fight against coronavirus.
At the moment, on the equipment of the Children's Technopark “Quantorium” of the University of Technology, prototypes of devices for protection against infection have been made: mounts for masks (to relieve pressure from the ears) and protective screens. Products are made using 3D printing and laser cutting. The possibility of manufacturing valves for mechanical ventilation by 3D printing is also being explored.
It is planned to conduct product testing in the healthcare centers of city Korolåv. After successful testing, mass production will be organized.
