The results of the all-Russian translation competition «Found in Translation-2020» were published by its organizer – the faculty of foreign languages of Omsk State University named after F. M. Dostoevsky. The students from more than sixty higher educational institutions of Russia took part in the competition.
From March 17 to April 17, the jury members checked and evaluated about 550 translations and then they named the winners in various categories. Among the winners of the competition are the students of the University of Technology:
The organizers of the competition expressed their gratitude to all participants and noted that the young people demonstrated skill, ingenuity, attention to details and careful attitude to the transfer of information – qualities without which the profession of translator is unthinkable. The organizers expressed special gratitude to the teachers who gave their students information about the competition and motivated them to participate.
