Solemn online ceremony «Graduate 2020» was held at the University

The 17th graduation of young specialists took place at the University of Technology. The solemn ceremony «Graduate 2020» was held online this year. 

The remote format of the prom did not prevent from collecting a huge number of University graduates live. This year there are 1,051 of them, 213 of whom graduated with honors. After completing their studies many of the graduates received additional diplomas «Translator in professional communication sphere» together with the university diplomas.  

During the online celebration the graduates were congratulated by Tatyana Startseva, the Rector of the University of Technology, Alexander Khodyrev, the Mayor of science city Korolev, Denis Kravchenko, the State Duma Deputy, Anatoly Timofeev, the First Deputy General Director of JSC «Kompozit», directors of Institutes and University professors. They wished the young people further professional success, noting that the graduates of the University of Technology are always in demand at all industrial enterprises of science city Korolev. And this is no coincidence, because even during their studies, today's graduates were able to prove themselves to future employers by their desire for new knowledge, hard work, as well as numerous professional successes and scientific victories. 

Among the graduates of the University of Technology in 2020, there are 70 foreign citizens who came to Russia for quality education. These are representatives of Latvia, Ukraine, Transnistria, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan. They were trained in such majors as «Innovation», «Information Systems and Technologies», «Management in Technical Systems», «Economics», «Design», etc. And now these young people have become qualified specialists, highly demanded in their native countries.

For the festive evening, the graduates as a gift to their home University prepared the original video messages in which they thanked their academicians and the University management for their happy student years and promised to rejoice in the title of the University of Technology graduates.  

During the online graduation, all viewers were able to participate in online contests, as well as enjoy the live performance of the cover band «Fivers», in the performance of which the anthem of the University of Technology was a pleasant surprise for all graduates.
